Yesterday's walk through the park was a bit risky because of the high winds. Lots of tree branches were on the path. Others were swinging violently. We had to stay alert so we wouldn't become a casualty of the storm! I'm still not sure if I could out run a falling branch...assuming I heard it ahead of time!

Anyone else have any bad weather stories or been caught outdoors a bit unprepared for nature's wrath?

This is exactly why I exercise indoors. It may not be as scenic, but I never have to worry about the weather and living in Texas, the weather is rarely good. It's either too cold or too hot. I'd rather do laps in an indoor pool, or watch TV while I walk on the treadmill, or listen to music while I lift weights.

I love to exercise outdoors. However we just bought a treadmill and I am actually enjoying working out in my living room while I read and look out my front window.
