We are slowly but surely building steam with our little grassroots company

We have been working on this dream for over 12 years now. It has developed slowly as technology has changed and we have moved around the globe.  We have been living on the islands of Guam and then St. John,VI for the majority of that time so everything accomplished has been in incremental steps.  We have had lots of ups and downs that have thrown us off course but Cat and I have always held one constant in our lives - our passion for exercise, eating well and taking care of our bodies! Obviously Cat and I are getting some help now. T;) A few of the people helping are: Robert L. Hart, my son, an alumnus of Chico State's Mechanical Engineering College is developing the first prototypes of our exercising mannequins. We will have
a naming contest for the first two mannequins that should be finished over the next couple weeks. One will be doing push ups and the other pull ups…. more than you or I have ever imagined!  They are grossly underpaid for those tasks, but alas, they are the only full time employees we can afford at this time! LOL

Karen Bajza is a senior as a Communications Major at Chico State College.  She is working part time but she is wearing several hats for us now.  Her enthusiasm toward this entrepreneurial venture is contagious. Mostly she understands the message…if Americans don’t start taking better care of themselves, her generation will be left paying the bill for our leisure!

My Grandson, Allen, deserves credit for helping us put a railing on top of that old delivery truck, creating rBods first Mobile Stage.  It should be noted that we picked the hottest week of the summer to do the work outside in temperatures exceeding 110 degrees.

I should also point out that my Grand daughters, Courtney and Marissa, have been very helpful during the tree house project that will be shown as an example on the rBods site to inspire parents and grandparents everywhere to provide kids with the ideas, instruments and infrastructure necessary to get daily exercise. Courtney and Marissa understand that Cat and I do not bring them candy. They can’t wait to eat fresh strawberries, grapes and other fruits though.

Robert Stigers, a Chico State MA graduate student, has been instrumental in creating this website for us.  We look forward to creating new and exciting APIs with his help that will motivate all of us to exercise, eat right and take care of r Bods. We also can’t wait for your suggestions towards that end!

We give special thanks to our families, especially to our Moms and now deceased Fathers, for they have raised us with courage and love while instilling in us a dedication to family and society’s values!

Many, many others have been giving us encouragement for years and we would like to thank them as a group also!  You know who you are!  Thanks

I wanted to thank one more person……Jack La lanne! I will never forget, even before I attended elementary school, that he captivated most of the nation’s housewives with his morning workouts! And I will always remember his comments, that he repeats to this day (he’s 95 on the 26th of this month!), about eating nutritiously "if man made it, don't eat it", and "if it tastes good, spit it out." I don’t exactly abide by those rules, but I must admit, America would be in a lot better situation today if we all had!

And Finally, We want to thank the Twitter community for becoming a powerful positive force in our lives. Twitter is powerful in that it gives wings to our imaginations to sore into other peoples minds and return with gifts unlimited!

Now, let’s build the rBods community together!
